The Resident Coordinator is the highest-ranking representative of the United Nations development system at the country level. The main responsibilities of the Resident Coordinator include, but are not limited to: - Representing the United Nations at the highest levels of state; - Coordinating the operational activities for development of the UN in support of the country's efforts to implement the 2030 Agenda; - Leading the United Nations Country Team in the development, monitoring and reporting of the UN Cooperation Frameworks; - Promoting and advocating for the fundamental values, standards and principles of the UN Charter.
